358 teenage learners received Movers Certificates from VUS (27-07-2010)
PRESS RELEASE
Ho Chi Minh City, 1 August 2010
On August 1st, 2010, Vietnam USA Society held a ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House in honor of 358 teenage learners who were to receive the Mover certificate.
The English program for Movers certificates at Vietnam USA Society is for teenage learners who have completed the Movers level of the Superkids program (from 8 to 10 years old). The program has helped students not only improve foreign langue skills but also be stronger and more confident. Learners have studied the four skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with native teachers. The program is designed to help learners to form a strong foundation from an early age with which to approach English, and be ready to integrate with the international teaching environment. As much research has shown, those kids have good learning results, especially those who are good at foreign language. They feel more confident compared to other children of the same age, Becoming fluent in English also helps superkids have more opportunities to be successful in the future.
According to many surveys, when taking the international Cambridge test, the scores of VUS superkids are 30% higher than those who are at the same age level within the Asian region.
