On November 25, 2006, Vietnam USA Society English Training Service Center solemnly organized the 13th Graduation Ceremony at Sofitel hotel for 100 students graduating from the Center’s training programs. Mr Pham Tan Nghia, President and CEO of VUS and Ms Ann Helm, Director of CUNY Vietnam Project (The City University of New York) were present and delivered speech at the ceremony.

The students receiving the Certificate of Graduation at this ceremony have completed their study at VUS and achieved the International TOEFL score that meets the requirement for obtaining VUS’ Certificate of Graduation which is co-signed by CUNY. With this certificate of graduation and the TOEFL score report issued by Educational Testing Services (ETS), students are eligible for admission into CUNY and other universities in the world.

Do Trong Thanh, one of VUS’s students receiving the certificate of graduation at this ceremony, achieved a record breaking TOEFL score of 670 out of the maximum of 677. This is the highest score ever at VUS and nationwide.
