On 18th April 2010, the Vietnam America Society – VUS organized the Movers degree awarding ceremony for 795 teenage students at the convocation hall of the Saigon Opera House – 7 Lam Son Square, Ben Nghe Ward, 1st District.

The English program for Movers degree at VUS is for teenage students from the age of 6 and above. This program not only helps students acquire good English skills, but also makes them feel more confident. Students are trained to acquire 4 skills perfectly: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and also students are trained directly by native teachers. This program is to set a strong foundation for students right from the beginning of their interaction with English, and they will be ready to integrate with the international education environment. According to research, students who have good results in their study, especially those good at foreign languages, often feel more confident as compared to others of the same age, so they have more chance to be successful.

According the the international Cambridge exam centre, VUS teenage students score an average of 30 percent better than that of other students in Asia.
The point which makes VUS outstanding is that VUS has a succesive English training program and also has a system of offering multiple international degrees, starting from Movers and Flyers degrees for children, TOEIC Bridge and TOEIC (international English communication), and finally TOEFL iBT for teenagers and adults. A Mover’s degree is a very important starting step in the process of learning English. It sets a strong foundation for a student’s future.
