Movers Award Presentation For 740 Young Learners (12-11-2009)

On 8 November 2009, VUS organised the Movers Award Presentation for 740 young learners at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House to acknowledge the students’ achievements and to encourage their learning commitment.

VUS Movers classes are designed for children six years old and up. The program equips them with English skills and makes them more confident. Students are trained to develop all four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) by foreign teachers. The program aims to provide a good foundation for children when they first learn English, helping them to become more confident in communication and be ready for studying in an international education environment.

Statistics have shown that VUS learners’ scores are 30% higher than those of regional learners. Another distinct feature of VUS is that the center offers comprehensive and diversified programs from Movers and Flyers (for children), TOEIC Bridge and TOEIC test preparation courses and TOEFL iBT for teenagers and adults. Getting a Movers certificate is an important starting step in the process of learning English and a good foundation for a child’s English learning later.
