Placement Test Scores of Integration Scholarship Program VUS - IU

At the "Integration Scholarship Information Day" held on March 12 and 13, 2010, at the International University, students attending the event had a chance to register for free placement tests at VUS.

General information for students and parents

When registering for classes, students/parents should provide their phone numbers and  contact addresses so they can be contacted when needed. The school should be informed of any changes in students’ contact numbers/addresses so their data can be updated.

Learning materials should be purchased at the campus library.

Students can register for use of lab computers, free of charge.

Transfer to another class will be considered in the first week of the course. Students with special time constraints should contact Admissions & Student Affairs Department for consultations.

Tuition fees are not refunded. In special when students cannot attend classes as schedule, their tution can be valid for up to 3 months in case they want to continue their studies.

Learning and Exam requirements

Students are required to regularly attend their classes. Students should notify the Campus Office in advance if they cannot attend class. Students who are absent for more than 30% of class hours without permission are not allowed to take the final exam.

Students should do their homework and actively participate in all class activities as instructed by teachers.

Students have to take their the Midterm and Final exam to pass a level. If students miss any tests, they should contact the Campus Office to register for the Makup test.

The Midterm exam score accouts for 30% of the final grade, the Final exam accounts for 60%, and Attendance (or Conduct for Superkids students) for 10% of the final grade.

In order to pass a class level or attend the graduation exam, students’ final grade should be at least 5, without any test result below 2. Studens can take a makeup test if they fail to meet the above requirements.

The deadline for registering for make-up Midterm exam is 15 days after the scheduled exam, for the final exam, the deadline is 7 days affer the scheduled exam.

Any request concerning test scores will be considered within 30 days from the date of examination.

Certification of learning results

Students will receive an Academic Report for each class level if they pass that level.

Student will receive the Certificate of Completion 2 weeks after completing a level of proficiency (eg. The Flyers Certificate is awarded after Senior Flyers 2; The Elementary Level Certificate is awarded after Young Leaders 4 and EIC 4; the Intermediate Level Certificate is given after Young Leaders 8 and EIC 8.)

Academic report and Certificates of Completion are available at the Campus office, when they are kept for 6 monts from date of issue.

Regulations for Students’ Conduct

Students are expected to have due respect for their teacher and classmates.

Students should be pumctual for classes. Students schould notify the campus office if they have special reasons to be late on a regular basis.

Students should respect a break time of no more than 10 minutes. Any further excuse from class time must be authorized by intructor in charge.

For safety reason, students from Superkids and Young Leader Programs are not permitted to be away from the school area during break time.

Student should not commit any act againt school security, nor should they cause any harm to other students, school property or school image. In case of an amergency, students should immediately contact the Campus Office for help and support.

To avoid distraction in the class, students from Superkids and Young Leaders programs are not allowed to use mobile phones during class sessions. Adult students should turn their mobile phone to vibration mode, and restrict the use of mobile phone in class.

Students must not bring any wweapons, explosives, or harmful devices to school.

Students should be reponsible for keeping their own belongings.

Violations of the above regulations will be treated on a case-by-case basis.
