English for Advanced Studies 2011

The program is designed to equip students with advanced English skills, to boost students’ confidence, and to help them achieve high scores on international exams, allowing them to meet the demands for recruitment from multinational companies and the needs to study at universities in the world.

Reasons for joining English for Advanced Studies:

Placement exam

Students will take a placement exam that tests them on 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing. Based on the result of the exam, learners will be placed in suitable class levels.

Certification

• Score reports showing students’ study results after each class level.
• Certificates awarded by VUS after each proficiency level.
• TOEIC certificates with scores 400, 500, 600,…,900, issued by Educational Testing Service, USA (ETS)
• IELTS Certificates with scores from 5.0, 6.0,…, 9.0, issued by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, British Council, and IDP Education.
• TOEFL IBT Certificates with scores 50, 60, …120, issued by Educational Testing Service, USA (ETS)
• The Graduation certificates, co-signed by VUS and CUNY, together with TOEFL IBT or IELTS score reports, which are internationally recognized.
